Chromebook information

Summer Break Information:

  • All students will keep their chromebooks over the summer break.  8th graders will most likely return their chromebooks to their high school in the Fall.  Please keep your chromebooks in a safe, secure, temperature-controlled location, so they will be ready to use again in the Fall.

  • Chromebooks will migrate into a more secure mode over the summer, with more restricted internet access.  They will also re-boot more often, and clear user data when not being used, in order to keep them in good working condition. Please make a note of your username and password, as you will need to type them in every time you use your chromebook over the summer.

  • Mr. Slocum will continue to monitor browsing alerts, and he will be available for chromebook assistance on a limited basis throughout the summer for those who are taking online summer school classes.  You may email Mr. S. for any assistance that you need, and he will reply as soon as he is able.
