ccsd.net:  The CCSD website provides all of the current and official information regarding school closures, free food distribution, and other resources.

cox.com:  Cox Communications is offering free and reduced internet access to families who qualify.

Chromebook or password assistance: email Mr. Slocum at slocuac@nv.ccsd.net for assistance with your chromebook or passwords. He will help you as soon as possible!  Please also visit the Chromebook page of this website for information about how to troubleshoot some technology issues you might be having!

Google Classroom: Students should check their Google Classroom daily, as teachers continue to upload activities and optional assignments throughout the quarantine.

 Aleks.com:  Greenspun uses Aleks.com as a supplemental resource to help our students work on math concepts at their individual pace and ability level.  Usernames and passwords are set by the student's math teacher.

Destiny Discover:  Destiny Discover is our library catalog and research database center. Students can check out and "Keep Reading!"hundreds of ebooks, as well as access numerous databases for information and research.

Accelerated Reader:  YES, you can now take AR quizzes from home!  There is no password, so we are trusting your honesty during this very challenging time.  Please KEEP READING, and earning AR points for your reading and English classes!

Mr. S.'s Youtube Channel:  Mr. S. uploads daily updates from his garage about the library, ebooks, reading, research, chromebook help, quarantine snacks, and more!

MyOn.com:  Renaissance has made available over 6,450 ebook titles to Clark County students to read at home until the end of May!  Almost all of these books have AR quizzes that you can take as well!  Every book also has a "read aloud" feature that is a real and natural reader!

Phet: Interactive math and science simulations used by Greenspun science teachers and sponsored by the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Gizmos (ExploreLearning.com): Explore Learning provides math and science simulations for interactive learning.

SBAC Practice Tests:  Practice tests for math, reading, and 8th grade science provided by the actual testing vendor for CCSD's SBAC testing.  Click on "Online Tools Training" under each category.

Sheppard Software:  Sheppard offers educational games for every subject area.  Our Geography department uses the World Geography category for supplemental learning at Greenspun!

Common Lit:  The ELA department at Greenspun uses Common lit to access a huge collection of reading passages in all literary and nonfiction genres for grades 3-12. (no login required)

No Red Ink:  Practice and activities in writing and language arts.  Log in with Google.

Vocabulary.com:  Vocabulary practice.  Log in with Google.

Newsela.com:  Database of current events articles that students read and answer questions about.  Sign in with Google.

Music Tech Teacher.com:  The music department uses Music Tech Teacher to teach music.
