Principal’s Message:
As each school day passes, students are accumulating grades, study habits, and those ever-changing moods and emotions typical of a middle schooler. Some of it's good, and some, not so good. The good news is that it is never too late for students to make positive changes that will help them to be successful.
Second quarter progress reports will be available in Infinite Campus next week. I encourage you to check your children’s progress, even if they are typically “A” students, and have those meaningful conversations about how to maintain a healthy balance between academics, activities, and even their school social lives.
Oftentimes, it is just a matter of asking our children, “How are you doing, and how can I help?”
Tracking and reviewing your children’s progress throughout the semester is an excellent way to gauge their needs and assist them in developing a plan to ensure their success at school. You can keep up with your children’s progress by checking Infinite Campus, becoming a Canvas observer, and checking in with their teachers and counselors.
In addition, forming partnerships with those who work closest with your children at school is a win. Together, we can have meaningful conversations and provide our children with support and the encouragement they need for academic achievement and their overall well-being.
