Principal’s Message:

Jackie Carducci GJHS Principal

To many students, Veterans Day is a vacation from school because they may not understand the true meaning behind the holiday. Why not take this time for some family bonding to let them know about the courage and sacrifices veterans have made to protect the freedom of our country?

What a wonderful opportunity to bond with our children and share stories of family and friends who have bravely served their country. What a great time for a family gathering to honor those special veterans for the contributions they have made. What a perfect time for us to say thank you for their unwavering commitment to protect our country

I encourage all of us to take a moment to thank any veterans we know, no matter the day, and think about ways we can show kindness and respect to them for serving our country so selflessly.

On behalf of the Greenspun Junior High School Staff, a special thank you to our veterans who have served our country, although I know that those two words are not nearly enough to encompass the magnitude of your service and sacrifice. We truly appreciate you!!
