Chromebook Collection: All student Chromebooks will be collected on Friday, May 20, during their 6th period classes. Students must return their own Chromebook and Greenspun charger. Greenspun Chromebooks and chargers are marked with identifying barcode labels and stickers, so students should take care not to mix up their devices with siblings' devices from other schools.

Summer Acceleration Academy: The original deadline for registration for Summer Acceleration held from May 31st through June 17th has passed. However, your child is still able to attend with limited class options. Please use the link to sign your child up for the summer class waitlist and for more information. We look forward to our Summer of Adventure!

Cheerleading Tryouts: Cheerleading tryouts are May 10-13 from 4:00 - 5:30 in the gym. All participants must complete registration on RegisterMyAthlete.com prior to May 10. Wear comfortable athletic clothes, cheer or tennis shoes, ponytail, and no jewelry.

Campus Safety Reminders:

Campus safety is of utmost importance at all times. Safety measures in place at Greenspun include the following:

  • Security gates and door bell at the main entrance - the front entrance is monitored by administration and/or campus security before and after school. Once the 1st period tardy bell rings, the security gates are locked so late students must enter the building through the front office.

  • During the school day, all exterior doors are locked with the exception of the main entrance doors. However, the front door to the main office is locked at all times. Visitors must ring the doorbell and check in at the attendance desk. You can support school safety by reminding your child that students must NEVER open an exterior door for anyone.

  • All students and staff must wear their ID badges and lanyards to ensure that no unauthorized visitors are on our campus.

  • At the end of the day, students must leave campus. Students are not permitted to hang out in the front or back of the school and/or courtyard unsupervised. Our campus security monitors supervise student pick up at the front entrance and bus riders at the back of the school. School ends at 2:11. Please ensure your child is picked up promptly unless he or she is participating in an after school activity.

Throughout the year, when there is a report of a safety issue, we take a variety of steps to protect the school community. In these situations, action steps may include safety searches of students, CCSD K-9 visits, school police or administrative investigations, partnering with parents to communicate current issues, and any other suitable steps to ensure safety. Please remind your children that if they witness unacceptable school behavior, it is always expected that they alert an adult on campus. Further, SafeVoice is available 24 hours a day.
