Principal’s Message:
As we close out another remarkable school year at Greenspun, I want to extend my sincere congratulations to our incredible Yearbook Staff on the release of the 2025–2026 yearbook, Forever Iconic.
This year’s theme could not be more fitting. Our school year was filled with moments that left a lasting impact: the milestones reached, everyday memories made, laughter shared, accomplishments celebrated, and experiences that brought our school community together. Although the school year has come to an end, these moments will remain Forever Iconic as the Yearbook Staff creatively told the story of our year through each carefully orchestrated page.
They have done outstanding work preserving this story with creativity, dedication, and attention to detail. Through thoughtful planning, exceptional photography, meaningful storytelling, and countless hours of never-ending effort, they have created something far greater than a collection of photos on a page. They have created a masterpiece that preserves the special memories of the 2025–2026 school year… one that truly lives up to its theme, Forever Iconic.
To our Yearbook staff, thank you for your commitment to capturing the moments that defined our school year. Congratulations on producing a truly Forever Iconic yearbook and leaving behind a legacy that will be cherished for years to come.
Events & Honors:
Teacher Recognition Luncheon: The end of the school year is quickly approaching. We have planned our annual teacher recognition lunch on Friday, May 22 after the students are dismissed . We would love to send off our teachers for the summer with some sweets and treats. If you would like to donate any of the following items for our recognition lunch help us thank our awesome teachers and staff for all of their hard work we would really appreciate it!
Items requested
Sweets (1 dozen) : Cookies, candy, cupcakes, etc.
Treats ( 1 dozen): Small bags of chips, cans of soda
Please drop-off all donations in the front office on Thursday, May 21 anytime or Friday, May 22, in the morning.
Online Registration: Online registration opens Monday, April 20 at 8:30am. ALL students must register for the 2026-2027 school year, including students returning to CCSD. CLICK HERE for more information and to register your child!
Chromebook Collection: All student Chromebooks, Greenspun chargers, and cell phone pouches will be collected and checked in on Tuesday, May 19, during 6th period classes. Chargers must have the Greenspun JHS barcode. Please do not return siblings’ chargers from other schools. Parents and students will receive an automated email receipt at 4:00pm itemizing all items that were checked in. Students who need Chromebooks for summer school must check out a new device with a new due date of August 10. Students must be registered for summer school, and can visit the library or Chromebook Help Desk to check out their summer school device at any time.
Mathia: Congratulations Stella Michaelson for completing all 129 Mathia Workspaces. Stella will receive a gift card from Mrs. Zuniga for being the 1st of her students to finish. Stella's hard work and dedication to Math has paid off. Congratulations!
2026-2027 Start time and bell schedule:
Important Banking/Webstore Information: Our banking system is being updated to a new system, MySchoolBucks (MSB). Therefore, please note the following important details:
Last Day for credit card purchases online and in-person is Friday, May 22, 2026.
5/25-6/9- CASH ONLY for any payment in person. No credit or Apple Pay.
The banking office will be closed on 6/9, and 6/18 to 7/20 - No payments can be accepted or processed.
If your student has outstanding fees, we encourage you to check your student's Destiny account and reach out to the banker to pay those fees ASAP.
For all fees unpaid after the changeover to MBS, a new parent account will have to be made(as it is not the same system) before online payments can be accepted.
Personal Property: The school is not responsible for any personal property of students or their families. Students should not bring valuable items to school. If students bring personal items to school, they do so at their own risk. The school is not obligated to investigate lost or stolen items. Webstore: The online webstore is now available! Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to add items for payment. Parents and guardians must create an account and add their child with a student ID number before they can make payments on the webstore. CLICK HERE to visit the new online webstore!
Absence notes: Parents, please submit absence notes within three days, by clicking on the Attendance icon on our homepage at greenspunjhs.com.
Infinite Campus Parent portal/Student portal: Parents, please continue to monitor your child’s grades in Infinite Campus Parent Portal. If you need an activation code, please contact the office for assistance.
SafeVoice: SafeVoice is an anonymous tip report system with live response 24/7/365. Safevoice (SV) includes and goes beyond bullying to create an anonymous way to also report threats of school violence and friends at risk of suicide, self-harm, drugs and more. CLICK HERE to submit a report
