Principal’s Message:

Jackie Carducci GJHS Principal
Jackie Carducci GJHS Principal

As we come to the end of another school year, I want to take a moment to recognize our eighth grade students. I know many students may not read the Parent Newsletter, so I am asking families to share this message with them.

To our eighth graders: Thank you for being part of our school these past three years. You have filled our classrooms and hallways with energy, humor, personality, and, at times, a little too much chaos, but those are often the moments we end up laughing about later.

Middle school is not always easy, and each of you has had to handle challenges, changes, and growing up while balancing school, activities, friendships, and everything else that comes with these years.

One of the things I appreciate most about this class is that every student’s journey has looked different. Success is not just about grades, awards, or accomplishments. Sometimes it is about learning from mistakes, figuring things out the hard way, showing resilience, or simply continuing to try when things are difficult.

As you move on to high school, I hope you continue to challenge yourselves, stay involved, and make the most of the opportunities ahead of you. Be confident in who you are becoming, and remember that you do not have to have everything figured out right away.

It has been a pleasure spending your middle school years with you, and I can’t wait to see what comes next for each of you.

Have a great summer and enjoy the start of high school.
