Principal’s Message:

Jackie Carducci GJHS Principal
Jackie Carducci GJHS Principal

As we begin a new school year, I want to take a moment to acknowledge the recent release of the state star ratings. Unfortunately, we received a two star rating for the 25-26 school year, which was 1.5 points away from our previous three stars. While our rating is certainly disappointing, it does not define who we are as a school or the incredible potential of our students and staff.

We strongly believe that through focused effort, we can raise our rating. To support our students, we are incorporating several key priorities during the 26-27 school year.

These priorities are

  1. to add rigorous and targeted instruction that strengthens test preparation to build student confidence and mastery

  2. to encourage strong daily attendance so students never miss crucial classroom instruction.

  3. to assist students in understanding the importance of doing their very best on every assignment and assessment

We are committed to using this year's results as an opportunity for reflection, growth, and action. With the dedication of our staff, the partnership of our families, and the hard work of our students, we are confident in our ability to make meaningful progress.

I believe in our students and staff, and together, we will continue working every day to make Greenspun Junior High School a place where every student can learn, thrive and grow.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support.
