Events & Honors:

Dolphin Sticker: We are so excited to announce the return of the Dolphin Sticker! These are awarded to all students with Straight O's for the first quarter grading cycle. These allow students privileges such as the Straight O lunch, a special treat, and going to sporting events without a parent present. We congratulate these students and are so very proud of you.

A reminder for students without dolphin stickers: you must have a parent present to attend all Greenspun sporting events. Thank you for your cooperation.

FOX5 A+ Educator: Congratulations to Robotics teacher Ms. Casey Juliano for being recognized by FOX5 in partnership with Silver State Schools Credit Union and the People Over Profit Foundation as an A+ Educator. CLICK BELOW!

PSAT testing: On behalf of the Clark County School District, I would like to inform you that the PSAT 8/9 will be given to all 8th-grade students at Greenspun JHS on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. In alignment with District Focus: 2024 goals, the test will be offered to students free of charge. This test's results and middle school recommendations may be used for 9th-grade course enrollment.

The PSAT 8/9 is the first test in the SAT Suite of Assessments offered by the College Board. Tightly aligned with the PSAT/NMSQT and the SAT, the PSAT 8/9 establishes a college and career readiness baseline as students transition to high school. The PSAT 8/9 will support all students with early feedback on the skills and knowledge most matter to college and career success. This test is a pressure-free way for students to start exploring their path to college and a future career.

Parents and guardians, we appreciate your support of this assessment as your student continues through middle school, high school, and beyond. To learn more about the PSAT 8/9, we invite parents and students to visit: https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/psat-8-9.
