Principal’s Message:
As Jane D. Hull, a former governor of Arizona stated, “At the end of the day, the most overwhelming key to a child’s success is the positive involvement of parents.”
Parents, this quote is an excellent reminder of how important you are, not only in the positive impact you make in the lives of your children, but also in the role you play as a member of our school community.
Your ideas and suggestions on how to make our school more effective is important to us. Your opinion matters. That is why I urge you to take a few minutes to complete the annual CCSD Survey, which is open until Friday, December 20, 2024.
Making positive change begins with those at the highest level, so it is important that CCSD hears from you. As a collective group, your voice, as parents, can contribute to improving the educational experience for your children.
The survey takes less than 10 minutes to complete and is a vital part of CCSD’s annual self-assessment. I encourage you to submit the 2024–2025 Districtwide Parent/Guardian Survey online using a computer, laptop, or other mobile device at https://www.ccsd.net/survey. Any parent/guardian with children in the school is eligible to take the survey.

8th Grade Panoramic Picture Day: 8th graders will be taking the 8th grade panoramic photo Friday, December 13th. CLICK HERE to submit your online order today!
Winter Dance: It is that time of the year again! We will be having our Winter Dance on Wednesday, December 18 after school from 2:15-3:15. Tickets are $10 and will be sold at all 3 lunches starting on Monday, December 9 and will continue through Wednesday, December 11. Your ticket will get you unlimited printed photos at the photo booth, snacks, a drink and fun with your friends. Please know, there will be NO PHONES allowed at the dance. Any student who has been suspended will not be allowed to attend the dance.
Hope Squad: Hope Squad will be spreading some holiday cheer by selling hot cocoa and apple cider before school every Tuesday and Thursday before winter break! Grab a cup for just $1!
Support for Jacob Aguilar: Jacob’s family would like to express their sincere appreciation for all of the kind words, letters, and donations during this difficult time. His mom has enjoyed reading all of the heartfelt messages that they have received. If you would like to send a card or letter in support of Jacob’s family, they may be dropped off at the front office. Absence notes: Parents, please submit absence notes within three days, by clicking on the Attendance icon on our homepage at greenspunjhs.com.
BIRTHDAY GREETINGS: Do you want an easy and fun way to celebrate your child's birthday at school? For $15, we will display a short message on the outdoor digital marquee to help celebrate the day. Additionally, a bag of treats and a personalized birthday card will be delivered to your child during the school day. All funds raised help support Greenspun clubs and activities.
