The Clark County School District (CCSD) is working with Public Consulting Group (PCG) to better
understand why Black students with disabilities may experience out-of-school suspensions (OSS) and in-school suspensions (ISS) at higher rates than other students. Together, we are reviewing district practices and identifying ways to improve student supports and outcomes.
We need to hear directly from families. Your experiences, perspectives, and insights are essential to helping us understand what is working well, where challenges may exist, and what changes could make a positive difference for students and families.
We invite parents and guardians of students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) who currently receive special education services in CCSD to complete a brief electronic survey. The information you share will help guide recommendations, improve supports, and inform actions to ensure all students are treated fairly, supported appropriately, and have the opportunity to succeed in school.
We recognize that your time is valuable. This survey takes approximately 8 minutes to complete, and the information gathered will directly inform recommendations and action plans designed to improve student outcomes. Every voice is essential to ensuring the findings accurately reflect the experiences of our staff and families across CCSD.
If you have any questions or experience difficulty accessing the survey, please contact PCG Project Manager Nicole Mora (nmora@pcgus.com)
